Ford New KA+
The original Ford Ka caused a real stir when it first appeared on the road – and the KA+ is doing it all over again.
It’s new. It’s economical. It’s spacious.
And it comes with many practical features that make driving safer, more comfortable and, of course, fun.
Discover the benefits of adding the KA+ to your life - and fully enjoy every moment you drive.
Ford Ka+ styling
At 3,886mm long, the five-door Ka+ is 266mm longer than the outgoing model. It’s 64mm shorter than the Fiesta, but 29mm taller. It features the familiar trapezoidal Ford grille at the front. It also has four wheels, some windows, and lights at the front and the back but, beyond that, it epitomises the mantra that ‘simple is beautiful’.
Ford Ka+ interior
Like the outside, the Ka+’s interior is heavily based on the Figo’s cabin, but with tweaks to improve the perceived quality. Compared to the Figo, the new Ka+ has fewer buttons with more features controlled by the infotainment system.
Practicality will be a big selling point for the Ka+, with Ford promising class-leading front headroom and rear legroom. A 270-litre boot is almost a match for the Fiesta, and a further 21 stowage cubbies are dotted throughout the cabin.
Ford Ka+ driving and engines
The Ka+ is said to offer, according to Ford, “an enjoyable and comfortable driving experience”. The suspension setup has been overhauled from the Figo’s, while tweaks to the body are claimed to reduce wind noise. Low rolling-resistance tyres should help fuel efficiency, too.
